As the door opened, Kidd turned around and starred in amazement. The girl he'd lied to, the girl who depended on him, was standing there, behind the small crack in the door frame. He turned to face her, the Adelaide he remembered, but only older, and so much different. It was the slight differences he noticed first.
Her hair was longer, much longer than the shoulder-length he remembered, now resting below her knees, but still the same golden brown-blond. She also had a deep long scar down her face, overlapping her left eye, which remained closed. She'd always been a pale girl, but her skin was more like white ash than the pale cream. She w
A few weeks after the strange encounter with the ghost of Adelaide, he moved to his laptop. He opened up his messenger and saw that her address was online again. He frowned, a crease forming above his eyes, causing his face to become coarse. Why this 'Jessica' was online Kidd never knew or understood. He stood up and went to the bathroom, splashing water onto his face. He felt ill and didn't understand why.
He wasn't sure if he felt guilty about lying to her that he loved her, or not telling her to move on from her past, but he never knew what to do about it. He never wanted her to get hurt, so he kept quiet. He finally stripped off and ste
The sunset shone hazily over the calm ocean. From the view of the mansion, Kidd stared out as darkness crept over the world. It'd been over 7 years since he'd met a girl, that girl hadn't really been in a good place in the world. Torn by struggle and pain, she somehow managed to continue breathing.
She depended on Kidd like no other. Not even like a new born baby clinging to it's mother's breast to survive. She loved him, but was too afraid to say the words out loud, she even kept them from her mind. When she talked to him, her chest pained, and everything seemed so magical, that it could never have existed in her life.

Prologue is just a small story I started to absently write up while I was waiting for my boyfriend to return home. So far, it's a small start for it. I don't expect it to go for long, but I'm putting a tutorial I recently submitted on my forum into effect. Currently, I wont be giving out links as of yet. When the forum is complete, I shall inform you of how to register.
I plan of putting my tutorial up as a deviation, but it'll probably mean I'll have to go format everything. Until then, please be happy with the first 2 parts of my short(maybe long) story with no better name than Prologue.
